My friends who work nearby joined me for lunch during Restaurant Week. Having dined at Ris before, they highly recommended the place and now I understand why. For starter I savored a large bowl of mussels in a tomato based broth. It only came with a toasted garlic bread slice; I would have enjoyed either more bread or a spoon to be able to savor every drop. For entree I enjoyed a large trout filet perfectly cooked atop a bed of veggies and baby potatoes. For dessert I marveled at apple pie ice cream, with swirled in pieces of cooked apple-- a sort of inverted pie a la mode (see photo). One of my friends enjoyed a dark chocolate creation (see photo). Altogether a beautifully served and presented meal, that tasted almost better than it looked, an excellent value and a memorable meal.

This place always delivers on great tasting food, I had a whole fried fish was delicious as all heck. The bones are still in it and you have to eat a special way to not come across the bones. Eat the fish the opposite of the bone structure by using your fork to pull the meat away. The crispy skin is so good. My dessert was a chocolate semifrado which was pretty good. I also at the bar which means you can still get a big plate of food there and relax.

Ate brunch here. Great atmosphere. Food and drinks were great. I think it's important to mention the price can be quite high but you get what you pay for.
