Dr. Chris and the entire staff at Rising Sun are OUTSTANDING!  We "happened upon" him and this group about 5-6 years ago.  I know someone gave them fewer stars for not taking new patients, but that speaks volumes about the care and dedication they have to those they serve.  They're not in it for the financial gain, they're in it because they are genuine, thoughtful clinicians, who care about the well being of animals and their owners!

Both of our elderly Labs were seen regularly by Dr. Chris and we thank him for treating them like the family members we believed them to be.  He went above and beyond (as did the staff) to maintain the quality of life for our pups.  He was there with us when it was time to let them go - with kindness, dignity, and grace.

We now have a three year old Lab and she was welcomed into their Rising Sun Family as well.  We love them and are SO thankful to be under their care!  What the location lacks in glitz and glamour, it makes up for in substance and care.  Don't get fooled by others.  I believe they have a wait list or you can call back periodically to see if the status of accepting new patients changes, but we will NEVER leave them!

Thanks Dr. Chris, the Tech Staff, and the Office Staff!  We're so grateful to you all!

Dr.'s Chris and Lisa are wonderful vets. Have complete trust in them. Have been with them for 10+years. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

honestly best vet ever. honest and fair and true animal lovers. my dog is super comfortable going there because they treat him so well
