Whereas RITE AID stores are major suppliers of pharmaceutical and health-care products, they are also hypocritical purveyors of addictive tobacco products proven to cause debilitating and fatal diseases. As consumers, we find that many companies are reprehensible in blatant indifference to the direct and indirect deadly effects of smoking. Moreover, this irrefutable threat to the greater public well-being and detriment to national health care cost lies at the doorways of all merchants of death. This urgent complaint supports a national ban on cigarettes and presents justifiable actions against RITE-AID.

Horrible  customer service they can't even answer a question .they remove all sale signs by 4pm on a Saturday then sale stuff rings up wrong and they can't even offer assistance .So I solved  this problem left my stuff and walked out done with this store .Transferring my scripts as well they are way overpriced

If you want to be treated like a drug addict, come here. Simply called to FIND OUT the DATE when I could re-fill my prescription for Tramadol (a controlled substance). I am not out, nor was I trying to speed up the re-fill, etc (like I know the many local abusers do). I just wanted to find out the date/day of the week so I could stop by in the A.M. before work (pharmacy is closed by time I get home). 

Many big-name pharmacies will only allow refills of controlled substances after (at earliest) the exact # of days the prescription was meant for. E.G. 2 pills/day for 30 days - cannot refill until day 30 or 31. This obviously causes issues for people who slip up a few days and take an extra dose.. They can call up on day 28 for example, be vehemently denied, and be forced to go through (potentially deadly dep on dose/med) withdrawal for the next 2-3 days.

I am on day 26 of the med, so I know exactly when I can refill, but I ask anyway because they are insanely disorganized and flat out DO NOT CARE (wrong profession much?) I call up, am transferred to a woman who immediately is trying to rush me off the phone while giving me attitude:

me: what DATE can i refill so I can plan yada yada
her: dob? first name?
me: x/x/x etc
her: 9 days (it is really 4-5 days till day 30)
me: ok, do you know the date/day of the week (it obviously says it in the system you would think?)
her: no, i dont--9 days. 
me: are you--
her: *cuts me off* ok, bye *Hangs Up*

Lol.. I just had NECK SURGERY!!! I am following the med instructions TO THE T! I just wanted the date! And this is how some woman who CHOSE THE CAREER as a PHARMACIST (someone who is meant to ASSIST PEOPLE) treated me. I honestly felt like s**t when I hung up because that is the way she treated me.

Items are very expensive,store shelves are hardly restocked & in other rite aid stores (BAYONNE) it's the same thing.Management dosen't seem to care!
