Went for the Lent Special, Fish fry! 4 big pieces of Alaskan Pollock, tasty, not too oily or greasy. Tasted fresh, flaky under the breading. Fries were average but hot.. Cole slaw, Awful as they didn't cut the core out properly from the cabbage. If it's prepared on site, could just be a one time goof in the kitchen. Nice big lemon wedge to squirt on the fish. Tartar sauce was fine and they gave you enough. Overall, pleased with the meal and can't beat the price, $6.95! Four stars! Wife & I got out of there for under $20. Was there on a Friday night so was busy. Took 30 minutes from order to food in front of us. Service was fine. The atmosphere isn't bad, not too noisy inside. It is a bar so you'll have loud talkers around you. Small dining area inside, only around 20 tables & booths combined. We sat at the bar, first available after a ten minute wait. Nothing fancy... solid fish fry for the price. We plan on returning.

River City Bar and Grill is a great little casual joint that's a bit of a cross between an old fashioned diner and a dive bar. Great food, great service. Loved the atmosphere (even though it's not actually on the water like one of the pics shows - that's a place in NC). Will definitely be a repeat customer!

Cool bartender, good prices, you can pay to pick the music 5$ for 5 songs from your phone. Really nice calm place.

Kinda divey community bar feel, in a good way. The prices are fantastic and the food is great. Try the okies. Try the wings. You won't be disappointed that you did!
