Food was good. Staff was...well what it was. I have high expectations and living in the South leaves room for improvement almost anywhere you go. 
Wings were delicious. Fried Zucchini and Mushrooms were HUGE! Drinks were good and prompt. Cheese fries were good.

Food was amazing and they give u so much that I had to take more than half to go. I got the catfish with fries. My daughter got the cheeseburger with fries. Got the fried zucchini appetizer. Everything was perfect. No complaints here. Staff was welcoming and attentive. Will go back.

Ate here on 2-27-18 and the food was banging. I had the chili cheeseburger and it was really good. The coleslaw was on point (i love coleslaw but I'm picky about it). Definitely will be back. Great service too.

As a tourist from out of town, local joints can sometimes come off uninviting. Not the case with River City Cafe. Immediately when my fiancée and I entered, we were treated as a local with great service and hospitality. Wait was about 20-30 due to business on a Friday evening, but we shared some drinks at the bar while we waited. As we were seated after the as expected wait, we ordered drinks and entrees right away since we had an opportunity to peruse the menu during our wait. The server was quick and knowledgeable of the menu. Food expeditiously arrived and we dove right in to the best part. I had the three alarm double burger platter as my fiancé enjoy the nacho burger. Both burgers were phenomenal. Cooked perfect, toppings were fresh and as described, and the bun was fresh as well. Overall a great experience at a great local joint we will definitely revisit.

Just a couple blocks from the beach you will find this local, laid back restaraunt. Grab some peanuts and throw the shells on the floor kind of place. Kids and adults will love looking at the license plate covered walls from all over the country, including some entertaining vanity plates as well. Great, attentive  staff along with their unique takes on some common grub make this place a must stop while in Myrtle Beach.
