It was pleasant but I felt I wasn't getting enough help. I stopped going because I felt I could get better help elsewhere.

This place has some sort of monopoly for what they do in concord, and they know it. I got more help in 1 month after leaving that nightmare, than I did for over a year dealing with their crap. Took almost a month to actually see someone, then another 2 months after they handed out a handful of pills (which I still don't understand why they put me on them) then... I got to see someone who thought I needed to go up on everything even after telling them I felt worse. Honestly if you have a choice, take the OTHER option!! Overall; they're mostly uncaring, over capacity (they don't care cuz they get paid for your anguish) and incompetent... If you're reading this... Good luck

I've seen two different people at Riverbend over the years. They were okay; however, I can't tolerate one of the admin people anymore. Her rudeness and condescending attitude have upset me too many times and I am going to take my business elsewhere. I would suggest you do the same. Thankfully I am well enough, but I worry for those who might be looking for a counselor who aren't. For a mental health service to have someone so full of malice at the phone seems to border on malpractice.

A very incompetent staff. It seems most of the people who work there are morbidly obese.
