Awesome racetrack. The new owners lowered the admission as a trial run. They also spent a fortune renovating the facility by putting in new bathrooms, concession stands, and track lighting. They also have a spectator area where fans can view inspection in the pits and see the winning car and driver up close. It’s a great family friendly experience.

Well organized, clean, good food, cold beer and drinks. Plenty of rest rooms and areas to step away if need be. Plenty of parking. Handycap friendly for the most part.

This place is a Long Island spectacle it's legendary one of my favorite places I highly recommend bringing the family down I'm watching on a Saturday.

I took my 7yr old son to the racetrack and we had a lot of fun. It's pretty cheap and he loved the school bus demolition derby. While the experience was fun, I much prefer Lime Rock Park. At Riverhead the seating is metal bleachers right on top of the track. At Lime Rock you're on rolling grass hills in a state park. 

That said, the demolition derbies, figure eight racing and fireworks aren't available at Lime Rock. 

There's plenty of parking and a plenty of seating so you don't need to freak out if you're late. However, there is definitely a hardcore group of fans that scoop up the seats along the back stretch.

Only track on Long Island. Support your local short track while it's around. Fun time on a Saturday night during the summer.
