Staff are super friendly & helpful. Shoe selection is very good & more can be ordered online. Most importantly they do a great job fitting you for the best shoe for your foot.

Very nice staff. Really caters to runners. They sell walking shoes but only online. Newsflash to Rrunners corporate folks: like many, I may reorder shoes online -- but the first time I buy a shoe/style, I LIKE TO TRY IT ON.

I am writing as the spouse. My wife & I went into Rockville store during the morning on 1/27/18 to buy her a pair of running shoes. I have dealt with RRS for many years, including being a VIP member.  I did not tell my wife about my previous unsatisfactory experience with the Rockville store so I would not prejudice her. During the 15 minutes in the store we were never acknowledged by anyone, despite few people in the store. Most merchandise was not priced. We finally left and had a great experience in a non-chain local running store. I probably will never deal with RRS again. Sad!

I usually prefer to shop at smaller sports specific stores like this than the large sporting good stores as these shops tend to offer a more diverse selection of items.  In the case of Road Runner Sports I am a bit torn...they do have a decent selection of running shoes, but they stick to a few brands almost religiously and they charge top dollar...but they have a nice caveat for families..they have a discount program that works great if you have a family like mine where you have multiple runners buying shoes multiple times a year.

Not a huge fan of the upsell on the cushion inserts...most of the best running brands already have some solid cushion options.

Jackson was very helpful and patient, got some good insoles made. They didn't have my exact size of my preferred shoe in stock, but that's not their fault (i have wide feet). Will recommend this place to friends!
