What are we about?
Roanoke Valley Community Credit Union exists for and because of our members. Membership here has a value that can be shown in dollars and in peace of mind.

Who can join?
Joining is easy! If you live, work, go to school, or worship in Roanoke City, Roanoke County, Vinton, Salem, or Botetourt you are eligible for membership.

What is our story?
RVCCU began in 1947 as the Roanoke City Teachers Federal Credit Union. We grew steadily over the years, while serving more and more companies and school systems in the Roanoke Valley. In February of 2002, we gained a Community Charter and began serving anyone who lives, works, worships, or goes to school in Roanoke City, Roanoke County, Vinton, Salem, or Botetourt. In 2012, we merged with Roanoke County Schools Federal Credit Union.

Roanoke Valley Community CU, a member-owned, democratically controlled financial cooperative that exists "Not for Profit, not for Charity, but for Service," is committed to serve the financial needs of our membership.
