Story

Welcome to Roberts Block Restaurant and Bar facebook page. Roberts Block is a new approachable but upscale restaurant in the Glenside, PA. We serve have an extensive menu that features many different types of American food but with something unique to each one. Those little flares gives even our humble "Block Burger" a nice touch. We are next to the Glenside Septa Station. Parking is available. Call to make reservations.

Food was great! Service was excellent. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. Definitely worth a return trip

Interesting architecture in a former Reading Railroad office block. Modern bistro fare, served by an attentive but not intrusive staff.  Doesn't take many arrivals to be recognized as a regular. Food itself is fresh and very flavorful, without the use of artificial flavour enhancers. This has become.my family's favorite Glenside renaissance restaurant.

I don't know what has changed, but I am very disappointed. 

We have been here several times, but this visit made me sad. 

Temperature of dishes, as they arrived at our table was inconsistent. Two came out together: one was hot, the other warm.

The featured soup apparently ran out, and the two pescatarians who ordered the onion garlic soup received bacon potato soup - with no warning (but did receive an apology, "Oh, they switched soups.")

My coconut lime mussels arrived with toast which was buttered with a sweet butter. Who does that? Out waitress explained that "it's the butter that we use for everything."

My blackened swordfish, should have been called "salted swordfish".

The bright spot was the 2 Roberts Ave. Cocktail. I had two. 🍸🍸

Delicious and fantastic service. Comfortable ambience. Great value. Their chocolate chip cookie dessert is to die for. Wow.

we were seated immediately even though we were late for our reservation, the food and service were great. the drinks from the bar were very good.....my filet was done perfectly and the baked cookie for dessert was a real treat. the snow created a perfect cozy setting to our meal. I recommend for larger groups too....can't think of a single negative.
