We've been going to Robin's for years and it just keeps getting better. Two things that are a must are the Blueberry Cornbread and the Mac & Cheese. Both are outstanding. Favorite meats are the Baby Back and Beef Ribs. Bathrooms are clean, music rocks and the service has been great. That's why we go back.

The food, overall, was pretty good. The tri tip was a little dry and could have been more flavorful. The blueberry corn bread with blueberry butter was unique and tasty. The creamed corn was a bit of a shock, as it had unadvertised jalapeños in it. I was hoping for a sweet creamed corn when I ordered. The atmosphere more than made up for where the food fell short. It was modern rustic, with vintage type advertising signs and license plates scattered around. No napkins, just a roll of paper towels at each table, and the silverware was set on the table in a mason jar. I'd definitely go back!

We visited this restaurant for the first time tonight and will not be going back. We both had a combo of barbecue pork ribs and beef ribs. In both cases, they were overdone. Kinda of tough to chew. We also did not care that much for their barbecue sauce. Their blueberry cornbread was undercooked and very doughy... yuck. The coleslaw and Dad's root beer were good. The server was also excellent. Just not our taste in food, I guess, as other people seem to give the restaurant good reviews. Someone had thrown up in the ladies bathroom sink also, which we saw just before we ate so that added to the unpleasant experience.

I knew it would be good when I smelled the wood smoke a block away while shopping at Ralph's. The baby backs and tri tip were as good as anything I had in Lockhart, Texas. The blueberry cornbread was sublime.

I agree with some of the others about the blueberry cornbread and the mac and cheese. They should sell them in the markets. The smoked meats taste like the barbeque I had growing up in Austin, Texas. Real tasty barbeque.
