The staff is well-equipped to do bike tune-ups and provide high quality bikes and accessories. However, go in knowing they're going to try to sell you on everything they own in the store (hyperbole). They could do better on customer service, especially following up with customers and making customers want to return.

I bought my first road bike with them a few years ago, and it's still working really well. I went in earlier this year for a tune-up and feel they did an excellent job of getting my bike in road-worthy condition again, and they do provide a short-term warranty for the tune-up (4-5 months). However, while they did a great job on the bike, I didn't feel personally valued but felt like an ATM and received no follow-up call after requesting a follow-up. I also had to constantly say how I wasn't going to buy a lot of extra items until I'd had a chance to research what I wanted, and they were condescending toward me after I asked if they price-matched online prices. I might return to them for tune-ups in the future if my current bike lasts a lot longer, but I won't be getting my next bike from them or returning anytime soon unfortunately. 

If you're looking to buy a road bike, Giant is a great brand (the main offering at Rock 'n' Road), but so are Specialized and Cannondale, also offered locally. There is too much competition in Holland to warrant subjecting yourself to poor customer service when products and pricing are comparable elsewhere.

There are a lot of good bike shops in Holland.  I went to them all and like this one better, just the people that work there.  Someone else might like another one.  But Emilio? and Ross helped me out with my problem quick so I took my bike back for tune up and tires.  Friends go to their weekly ride too.

Went there to get a new bike for my daughter's birthday present. Had a great experience, staff was knowledgeable and extremely friendly! Their reasonable prices and professionalism will  make me a repeat customer. I highly recommend this shop for anyone from your recreational to your hardcore biker. We shopped around to other stores in Holland and unless you walk in with some sort of spandex biker outfit on your not gonna get the time of day. Rock n Road is the best bike shop in Holland!

Despite getting there too early (was on Central time still), they opened up early for us to rent a bike.  They were very accommodating and helped me replace the saddle on my current bike that was WAY too "factory tight."  The people there were very personable and seemed committed to the community as we watched them interact with others.

I would recommend this place to others (both locals and out-of-towners.
