Jeff A. and Chris H. did an excellent job servicing my boiler and walking me through everything they did. Before starting work, Jeff took the time to explain what I needed to bring my heating system to peak performance, presented me with transparent pricing options, and was very candid about which issues were most pressing and which ones I could defer until later to save money. He also took the time to look at a separate ducting issue that was outside the scope of his service call. He definitely went above and beyond, and I won't hesitate to use Rodenhiser again.

Rodenhiser sent a furnace tech the same day I called. They were delightful on the phone. Gary showed up and did great work. I will definitely use them again. SEVERAL boiler services later... We like Rodenhiser for service because they are fast and reliable. HOWEVER, they are also very expensive--especially for new installations. When our oil boiler failed, Rodenhiser was 51% (yes, fifity-one percent) more expensive compared to a smaller local business. Having chosen the little guy for the installation (and being very happy with the quality and timeliness of their work), I'm a little annoyed that Rodenhiser was so high ($4,500 high). Now, you're probably thinking--Rodenhiser must have quoted us a better boiler, or a more thorough installation. In fact, the quotes were for the same exact make/model boiler, and the proposed installs were exactly the same, with the less expensive quote including additional hot/cold hose hookups. Rodenhiser can have their 5 stars, because I value their response time and reliability, but do yourself a favor and get a couple of competing quotes if you have the luxury of time.

Our furnace didn't come back on after the power outage caused by winter storm Riley. I called Rodenhiser around 8:00 PM on Thursday and they were able to schedule a technician for 8:00 AM on Friday. Alex arrived promptly at 8:00 AM, made sure to listen to my tale of woe, and then got to work. A quick inspection and jiggling of wires and connectors to ensure everything was tight, and when Alex powered the furnace up, all was well. He took the time to finish the overall system check that we were due for, but hadn't yet scheduled. I couldn't be happier with the prompt and professional service.

A call to Rodenhiser's Tori Johnson about a bathroom toilet leak resulted in same day service by Chris G and Chris H. Originally Tori quoted the appointment window as two days out, but after requesting priority service due to recent surgery, she was able to arrange for a same day response. Outstanding work by all 3 individuals to "make it happen" for this long standing Rodenhiser customer. Chris even honored a promotional rate reduction for the work performed. Suggestions about potential toilet replacements were offered since the offending toilet was over 30 years old. Information is always good to have for future consideration!

The folks at Rodenhiser were terrific and responsive. From handling my initial call in the office to coming to the house when they said they would be there. The office kept me up to date with regards to when the technicians would arrive. All the techs were very helpful and friendly. And most importantly my issue was resolved. This is a good crew and look forward to using their services, both scheduled and unscheduled, in the future.
