I am so angry. The vet’s assistants are absolutely precious, but NONE of them are licensed. I was actually asking about a secretary job and was told none of them are licensed so I could apply for vet’s assistant. About 8 years ago, I took my dog up there because we thought she was poisoned. She was seizing and couldn’t walk. He proceeded to stand there and WATCH MY DOG SEIZE while telling me that when dogs seize, they get irreversible brain damage! My dad said “Do something!” and he continued to talk prices instead of doing something for our dog who was still seizing. My dad ended up screaming at him and he finally called in a “vet’s assistant” to sedate her. He then tried to charge us over $2000 for blood work and a few other minor things. When we told him we didn’t have it, he said “Guess we’ll have to put her down.” Least sympathetic man I’ve ever met in my life. A couple weeks ago, I called and asked about prices to have my cat neutered and vaccinated. I was told $89. I said “And there are no hidden fees whatsoever?” She responded with “No ma’am, just the $89.” I took him up there today and I told the vet’s assistant to watch out for his claws because even though he isn’t violent, they are razor blades. She said “Oh, that’s no problem! I’ll just cut them while he’s asleep.” I asked if they would charge and she said no. So I thanked her and we left. I go to pick up my cat and get charged $130! Apparently, they charged $27 for the pain meds (which was a one time shot, by the way) and sent us home with nothing. They also charged us to THROW AWAY HIS NUTS. I asked what was on the receipt she gave us because it said “Fvrcp - 2 weeks” and she said “Oh yeah, he wants you back in two weeks for a booster shot.” Which I would not have been told if I hadn’t asked! I asked how much it would be and she told me $30. So all in all, I am spending $160 for something that I was told was “$89 with no hidden fees whatsoever”. I got home and checked my cat’s claws without thinking, and they didn’t cut his claws like she said either. I thought that after 8 years this place might have changed, but it definitely hasn’t. I will never go back to such a money hungry and unprofessional place.

I take my cat, Hercules, to this vet. The staff is always friendly and great with my cat. I have used other vets but Rolling Hills isn't expensive like the other ones I used in the past. Honestly, it wouldn't matter the price because the quality of the staff members is a big + in my book.
