Their service department has been great! They do a 109 point inspection on it when it is in for an oil change. For major service, they have been reasonable in price and do not sell on things that are not needed. Once, after a service, I noticed a problem, they took it in and said they missed something and fixed it - all while I was using their loaner car at no charge. I feel they are honest and do quality work using the right parts without substituting a cheaper part than another auto repair place might do.

My husband and I were -unexpectedly- in the market for a new car. We only have one day in the week that we can spend time car shopping. I did a lot of leg work throughout the week working with various dealerships, and booked out all of today to visit various dealerships. Ron Tonkin Acura was one of the dealerships that I hadn't visited prior to today because of the distance. I'd only spoke with Tommy on the phone. They were our first and last stop today. Becki was great to work with (Tommy was working with other customers, but took the time to greet us and introduce us to Becki.) We were obviously not their "high end" customer as we were looking in the 20k range, not at any luxury vehicles, but they still treated us as such. There was no pressure at all to buy, Becki was open and honest. I felt like we could've driven every vehicle on their lot today and walked away without any change in their attitudes or service to us. This was night and day compared to my last experience buying a car (from one of their competitors that "believes in", but doesn't always demonstrate, nice.) We were definitely buying a car, Becki wasn't SELLING us a car.

I had a seamless experience when purchasing my "new to me" 2013 Acura TL from Ron Tonkin! Not only was the experience a seamless one, but the customer service received from Ray Armstrong was excellent. He answered all of our questions, made himself available to fit our schedule and has followed up several times to be sure we don't have any questions and that we are happy with our new car. I highly recommend Ron Tonkin Acura if you are in the market for a new car! Be sure to ask for Ray! I'm loving my new car!

I just moved to Oregon and it's my first car. It's a nice experience working with Samuel at Ron Tonkin! He works hard with his team to get the process done smoothly through the week. The car looks nice and the cost performance is perfect. I would recommend Acura to everyone.

I recently purchased a 2017 Acura MDX from Samuel Kim at Ron Tonkin Acura of Portland. This was by far the most stress free and pleasurable automobile purchase experience I have had. Samuel did an excellent job of listening to my interests and concerns. He understood that I was in a hurry and was respectful of my time. He is a seasoned sales person and his experience was evident. I truly walked away with the sense that, while Samuel works for Ron Tonkin Acura, he also works for his customers. Here are some examples of his thoughtfulness and consideration. I told him what I was interested in over the phone and made an appointment to schedule a test drive. He never tried to “sell” me on anything that I wasn’t interested in and he was prepared when I arrived and didn’t waste any of my time focusing on what he wanted to accomplish. Samuel was attentive to my wishes and allowed me to decide the direction and speed of the sales process. He listened carefully and helped me make sensible decisions regarding available packages and options. Despite opportunities to up sell me on packages, he helped me weigh whether or not certain options were necessary and practical given the added costs. Price negotiations were fair and straightforward. There was no funny business or trickery. Samuel was very respectful and I can honestly say we both walked away from the negotiation feeling we both received a fair and honest deal. This is important to the customer when making a large purchase. Customer satisfaction is highly dependent on the customer feeling as though they were treated with respect and were given the best deal possible. Samuel excels at this and he is able to get to the bottom line quickly, while maintaining a high quality relationship with his customers. He even helped me return my rental car so I could drive away with my new MDX within a couple of hours. His high level of attentiveness does not end after the sale is final. He continues to follow up with his customers to make sure they are pleased with their purchase and he works with the dealership to ensure that anything else that his customers need will be taken care of. He made sure that a follow up appointment with the service department to add additional options was scheduled promptly and I was provided a loaner car at a time that was convenient for me. Samuel is an exceptional sales person who has earned his customers’ repeat business. I will absolutely look to him for my next purchase, and I highly recommend visiting Samuel at Ron Tonkin Acura if you are in the market for a new or used Acura and would like to enjoy a pleasant buying experience!
