A trendy menu and attractive bar can make a brunch exceptional or a dinner romantic. Reservations are recommended so you don't have to wait, but walking in usually offers a quick seating as well. If you join them for dinner, you'll definitely want to return for brunch a few weeks later. Just about anything on the menu is delicious and I highly suggest exploring their cocktail selection.

What is there not to say about Root Down?! This location has hands down THE BEST brunch in the neighborhood. Definitely worth the wait as well. You can't go wrong with your choice of sweet or savory although I like to get one of both. They always have delicious mimosas as well.

Excellent brunch! Bottomless mimosas mean you WILL NOT see the bottom of your glass. Eric was our waiter and he was perfect. Food was phenomenal and plenty of gluten-free and vegan options for the diet conscious.

Amazing service, cool restaurant and good food. The servings are pretty small though, so I wouldn't come here starving unless you're in the mood to spend a lot of money. That being said, our entire party loved the dishes we ordered and the drinks were exceptional. We'd absolutely come back but would definitely have a snack first.

Great service, polite and friendly staff. I met friends for cocktails on a Saturday night. It was full and the booths were reserved but the staff managed to find a work around for our party of four to have a booth since we were only having drinks, not food. This was appreciated since most places would’ve let us stand around without giving us a second thought. Also, I accidentally left my credit card behind. I was able to retrieve it the next day because the staff was so friendly about taking my information and calling me as soon as it was found. Again, I could’ve been blown off but I was not which I am thankful for. Overall great place, will return again. Cocktails were yummy too.
