Great, chill atmosphere. Eclectic furniture gives it an informal feel. Staff was super friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be at work. The latte was perfect! Will definitely be going back!!

very relaxing environment, and nice staff. Try this place out a few times, and they use real loose leaf tea. Coffee is also very fresh and great!

Went here for the first time a couple months ago & I'd have to say it quickly became my favorite local coffee place. Friendly service with great food as well. Love the atmosphere & setting, especially the fact that there always seems to be plenty of seating (which I tend to struggle with at other places). I appreciate how it's also a little bit out of the way from the hubbub of the city.

From the first time I visited Roots Brew Shop, I felt like I welcome there. Never in my life did I think I would find myself writing a review about a coffeeshop, but Roots Brew has become a haven where I know, without a doubt, that: I matter, I am worth it, I am known, I am accepted, I am valued, I am respected, and I am loved.

This is an old-fashioned coffee shop, 90s style...In a good way. Long open hours, lots of good work space, live music sometimes. Their coffee is not quite as good as nearby Ferris or Madcap, but it's pretty good, and they also have good tea and amazing bagels from Nantucket Baking. I am addicted to the rosemary-sea salt bagel.  Good for work, conversation, even a morning coffee hour with baby in tow.
