Will never return to this vet establishment again. My poor cat was in respiratory distress and my local vet was unable to get me an appointment in time. I googled vets in Norman, Rose Rock popped up with great reviews, so I made an appointment. Took my cat in, the vet didn't even assess my cat in front of me; she was hauled off to the back. Then, the vet leaves and returns with a "care plan" that had absolutely unnecessary procedures on it. I immediately felt as though this was the type of place trying to squeeze every penny possible out of fretting animal lovers. My cat was hospitalized for the night. I came the next day to drop off antibiotics that I had to go pick up and she was covered in her own filth. She had loose stool from her tail down to her legs. What was I paying the ICU for? She also has eye issues (herpes) and they looked like that had not been touched. They were caked with discharge. I left her for one more night so that she could receive oxygen. Went to pick her up in the morning and they recommended that I leave her there another 2 nights even though I told them we were on a very limited budget as I am 37 weeks pregnant with our first child. The tech looked at me as though I was crazy. Then, the tech brings me a list of the medications and how to administer. On the list is nasal drops that I had NOT authorized them to use. I would have of course authorized this, but they even admitted at failing to contact me for my permission. They also cut her claws down to the numbs without informing me. I understand why they would do this, but still, it would have been courteous to inform me. I spent 900$ for, what I feel like, was poor care and still did not find out what the underlying cause was for my cats distress. I do not feel as though they cared about my pet, they just see dollar signs for vulnerable owners. I would never, ever, recommend this place to anyone or will I ever return.

They need better feedback! The interview process was a joke, the lady started interviewing me while she was watching t.v.!!! And then, this is No joke, they literally told me that if I do a "working" interview, which was estimated to be 2-3 hours.. we don't get paid?!?.. but here's the real catch, if you take their drug test/background check and they take their sweet time calling You back so you decide to take a job elsewhere, YOU PAY THEM BACK for their test and background check!!! Tell me this is not a company trying to squeeze money out of people they are hiring for just barely over minimum wage positions?! Where is the love, compassion and professionalism?! Obviously this company only sees $$$

We have been with Rose Rock for over 14 years with our animals. They took amazing care of our last dog, Porter Mae, especially in her last hours here on earth. And now they take the very best care of our sweet Lily Mae. They are always loving, attentive, caring and patient with her. Thank you Rose Rock for loving our girl as much as we do and always providing exceptional care and service.

I have spent some time getting to know and observing the staff through shadowing one of their Veterinary Assistants. From the beginning I have been impressed by all of the staff. I’ve had the opportunity to see more of what goes on behind the scenes than most people, and have nothing but positive things to say about my experiences and observations there. I have a 3 year old Border Collie/Australian Shepard mix named Tucker. Rose Rock was offering a GREAT discount for the month of February (Dental Month), so I decided to have Tucker’s teeth cleaned. While we have been lifelong clients of another Veterinary office, Tucker is much more at ease while here at Rose Rock. We saw Dr. Bryce Fritzler, and I was extremely satisfied, both with our consultation and the results of the procedure. He was thorough in all aspects, and Tucker’s teeth have never looked better- to the point where he could probably be a doggie dental model. Based on my shadowing experiences, I know he was well taken care of, and his behavior after the procedure reflected it. The staff was also very thorough in their follow up. Could not be happier!
