The owner is a great guy.  Larry has gone above and beyond to help me out with gear as seasons arrive.  They have the vest boot fitter Eric in the world (I have two really messed up feet with pins in both and my boots feel like slippers). I highly recommend going to the shop and getting to know the staff.  They care and it shows.   Also I saw in a previous comment about the pricing....next time your in there if your looking at an item that you can find for a better price, at very least show the staff.  In all likely hood they will see what they can do to get close or to match the price.   All around the best ski shop in town.

Interesting rental experience.  Needed four sets of skis and one board for me and my kids.  They don't rent boards which was inconvenient.  We went ahead and rented skis.  As we are finishing up the fitting I ask for helmets and they don't have helmets to rent.............ok, now this is getting annoying.  If you don't rent helmets in todays ski world, you are not providing you customers with a critical piece of equipment that everyone uses......oh yeah, and they will pay you for the service!.... Finally as we get ready to check out, I ask how much the damage waiver costs on the equipment and they inform me that they don't sell a damage waiver.  Instead, you are responsible for the cost of whatever damage you do to the ski.  We ski regularly at many ski resorts in CO and UT and I have never rented equipment where a damage waiver insurance policy is not offered.  Again, a service that your customers will pay you for!!!!....... Staff was good to work with, just a weird rental experience.

I have been buying stuff here since the building was actually round.  Skis, bikes, clothing, etc.  But my latest experience makes me wonder if Larry Merkel still owns the place.  My wife bought me an expensive Patagonia sweater for Xmas.  The side seam is coming undone due to a poor stitch job.  They will not let us return or exchange.  Eric told us we need to contact Patagonia directly.  Not sure about Patagonia or Round House anymore...

Only issues from the start dealing with buying new boots from them. At first they botched giving my ski bucks for their fall promotion. This was remidied with a poor attitude but the situation was ok. Had the boots broke and was told I was having to cover shipping charges to send the boots back. After contacting the company directly it turns out that roundhouse was blatantly lying as the company gives every RA a pre paid shipping label. Dissapointed to say the least a local shop would treat customers this way.

Great experience getting my intuition liners fitted. Was not rushed at all, and they took plenty of time making sure they were the right size and trimming things to get the perfect fit.
