This is a great bike shop and they were extremely accommodating. I showed up 10 minutes before closing and was able to buy a new set of tires and they agreed to change them out which meant staying well after closing time. Thanks again for helping me out!

Summit personifies the classic understanding of how a shop operates. It doesn't care with contemporary retail philosophies concerning sales techniques, floor layout, or anything else--parts and bikes are everywhere, and the conversations with the employees don't have an ounce of intentional salesmanship. I've never felt like I'm getting played or oversold. Everything is really no pressure, really casual. What separates this place is their service. No matter who checks in your bike or is there to answer questions, you will be talking with someone who knows what they're doing. So far every bike I've brought in has been dialed perfectly, and every road bump has been met with an amazing attention to detail. But not only that, they do their labor for an incredibly generous price. We get used to the modern stores--target, rei, or whatever--and shops like to emulate that. I can appreciate why that makes folks more comfortable, but I don't think you'll get better service anywhere else in Bozeman based on the sheer consistency I've seen in their employees. They also sell Santa Cruz. Everyone should buy a Santa Cruz. Go buy one here.

Took my bike here for some adjustments after I had my bike shipped to me via Amazon, they went over everything with a fine toothed comb, adjusted things I wouldn't even have thought to look at and straightened the handlebars that were a bit off from shipping. Charged me very little for looking at it and fine tuning, gave me great advice for future maintenance, and took very little time adjusting and looking over my bike. Everyone was super friendly and helpful! I will definitely be going here again for all my bike repair and maintenance needs!
