Mission

Round Rock is a tremendous place to do business but we cannot rest on our laurels. We must continue to push forward in order to deliver results for the business community. We have developed a 2017 business plan which includes over 30 impactful items. Of that 30, we have 5 top priorities that will be a contact focus of our work in 2017. These include generating eight economic development wins, designing a skilled trades image campaign, developing an entrepreneurship Round Rock program, an entrepreneurship advisory committee, and a youth entrepreneurship program. With your continued support of the chamber, we will work to produce results than generate positive economic results for all.

In 2016 alone, we achieved six economic development project wins that represent $500 million in capital investment and secured over 1,900 jobs; completed 135 business retention and expansion visits; produced the Professional Relocation Optimization (PRO) Round Rock suite of resources to recruit top talent; launched an internship toolkit; developed the E-stories project which highlights local entrepreneurs; added new events focused on entrepreneurship, small business, and workforce development; and expanded the Educator Externship program to include forty-one educators and business partners to better prepare for tomorrow’s workforce.
