Valentines dinner at Roux! Incredible! Scrupulously delicious! Out of this world entree! Jennifer welcomes with open gracious arms! What could be better! Love this place! Blessed to have this place in our neighborhood! Wow!

We went to Roux on Mother's Day, we were greeted, sat outside under an umbrella, temperature was perfect! Some sun and some shade, heavenly garden to enjoy. They were unexpectedly busy (everyone walking in at the same time) but it was worth the wait. Quality offerings prepared perfectly and so, so fresh. Salad, ceviche, shrimp and soup, everything homemade and excellent. Chef Roux really cares, he came out to check. In spite the extra long day (huge brunch), he was mellow and kind. Even sending out dessert to accommodate waiting guests. A special touch by him and our most darling server, Katie. Bussers were attentive, sweet. It's hard to run a restaurant when everything happens at once but these pros handled it with the utmost decorum. We loved out meal, Katie and the whole evening. It was a super sublime experience. Just an amazing find. We had a girls weekend in Carmel Valley & after a day at the Refuge Spa, we were ready for a great meal. Roux did not disappoint. Our waitress, Christina, while young, had great knowledge of their menu & wine list. The food was so good, so perfectly plated. Betwee us we had salmon, short ribs, & steak. Appetizers were crab cakes & for a dessert a Meyer lemon cheesecake. Everything was to die for, including the Mercy Pinot Noir. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is one of the gems of Carmel Valley. The food is unique and delicious and the service is gracious an excellent. You can't go wrong with the dinner here

Delicious food. Friendly and great service. The patio is lovely. Really lives up to the reputation, especially compared to hyped up places like La Byciclette in Carmel.
