If you are a single lady, and new to the city like I was you can appreciate how unpleasant it can be to move. I cannot express how grateful I am that I gave Roy and his team a call. Before I found RM1 I tried several other unreliable or overpriced, and generally uninspiring companies so I have a basis for comparison.  By the time I found RM1, I was desperate to get a large white couch up to my 17th floor condo (no other company wanted to touch it for under $600). Seriously, I wish I had known from the beginning that moving bliss was only one call away. When I got on the phone with Roy (he personally takes your call) his calm manner, expertise and sincerity were evident right away. Even though it was after 4:30pm he listened without surprise to my situation, unhesitatingly agreed to take care of me. In fact, he immediately turned his car around to come scope the problem. 
I could detail several more examples about how he came back multiple times (to accommodate my building's schedule) tirelessly tried dozens of methods to maneuver the couch, was dependable and timely, showed genuine concern about my experience and the safety of my walls and furniture. He basically worked a moving miracle to get this couch in...And here's the bottom line: ladies, you will absolutely not be disappointed by any aspect of your interaction with Roy or any one of his movers. It is truly a pleasure to watch them work and to see the integrity, and expertise exemplified in their strength, deft communication and efficient management. They are gentlemen in every sense of the word, sensitive to your concerns and needs; not to mention aesthetically, the process and end results are wonderful. If I ever have another such concern, big or small, I will be calling RM1. RM1 has competitive prices, but I'd pay more for the pleasant experience RM1 provides.

We had to moving from IL to OH. We had multiple quotes from national van/moving companies. I wanted some one local. Checked Yelp and found Roy's Moving to have a perfect 5 out of 5. Called the number and who else picks up but the owner Roy! Within a few days an in House quote was made and we had a time/price/date set. On the day of the move he had 7 people there to load our place! Obviously not al of them came to Ohio but boy did it speed up the process of loading and unloading. Roy personally supervised my move. They were able to unload me in Ohio the next day. The same people who loaded me unloaded me which was great. (National van/moving companies normally take 5 business days until they unload and it's different people who unload you, which was not an attractive option.)
Everyone was extremely professional, nice, and helpful. 
They carefully took apart and wrapped all of our larger items and then carefully put them back together upon arrival. 
All in all, definitely a 5 out of 5. 
Totally see now why Roys Moving has a 5 out of 5. They deserve no less!

They were courtious, fast, friendly and helpful.  They did a great job and Roy follows up with the scheduling to make sure  the move goes smoothly.  Very reliable.

We just completed our move with Roy and his team this past weekend. It was almost 100 degrees outside and they had to move us from a 3 story townhome to a 4 story home (both without elevators). 
From the minute I opened the door to great them, they had smiles on their faces. Throughout the entire move (involving big furniture pieces going up a scorching hot outdoor spiral staircase) they always remained calm, professional, and fun at the same time. They wouldn't even let me carry a single bag! 
As you can tell, their team effort and personalities amazed me. I am also happy to say that the move was flawless. 
Each and every one of his team members was unbelievable.
