It was a totally positive experience from beginning to end. I loved how the estimate process was digital and I could use my iPhone app to communicate with the office (much easier than waiting around for someone to show up). Sarah in the office was fantastic--helpful, efficient, and a pro. We had a big move and the movers were wonderful. So nice and worked so hard from start to finish. No one complained, everyone had a positive/friendly attitude, and by the end of the long day, all of our stuff had been carefully moved, re-assembled, etc. The estimate was dead on (I always get nervous hiring movers by the hour instead of a flat rate), which I really appreciated.

New City Moving was wonderful to work with!  It was easy to schedule the move and work with the team to come up with an estimate for my move costs.  Nick was a courteous and efficient mover and was very communicative throughout the whole process.  They arrived on time and finished earlier than expected, with all boxes arriving in great condition.  They were also very careful to not scratch floors or walls as they were moving things around.  I was very impressed with the professionalism and speed of the move - highly recommend them for anyone moving!

Our experience with New City Moving was outstanding from start to finish!  Every person that we interacted with, both on the phone and in person, was friendly, knowledgable and professional.  And, the communication at every step was proactive and great.  The day of our move, the crew called to let us know that they were on their way and they arrived right on time.  They were absolutely great! We moved to a condo building with certain requirements for moving and things went without a hitch.  We would highly recommend New City Moving!

My foreman was Cruz. He and his team did a great job loading our 20 foot moving truck with everything from our full 2 bedroom third floor walk up condo. They wrapped all of our furniture with plastic they supplied and furniture pads that we rented so that it was well protected. The team was very polite and  were experts at packing the truck, so much so that I think not a single additional box would have fit. After we drove our truck over 200 miles and unpacked everything, the only thing that was broken was a single (non-expensive) wine glass. I'd definitely use this crew again.

Hands down the best moving experience I've ever had. Staff were polite, professional, and (in the case of the movers) extremely quick. Ended up saving me a significant amount of money considering how quickly they moved me out of a third-floor apartment to a house an hour away.
I'm going to recommend New City Moving to everyone I know moving around Chicagoland. Excellent service.
