I've purchased from royal before, but this experience has been awful. I've been trying to reach a store manager for 4 days. I keep being told he "Kenny" will give me a call back. But nothing. Take your business elsewhere. Customer service is very important, and this is not customer service. I wasn't even upset when trying to reach the store manager but that's the way i've been treated. Awful business and customer service.

Called and emailed pictures to manager Kenneth in Hoover store several months ago about several defects in my bedroom suite, we finally got a service guy to come out and he only fixed some of the issues. I was told by Kenneth I should have called back 72 hours after delivery, although it took them 2 to 3 weeks to get the furniture to my home after purchase. Bad customer service all together Mr. Kenneth...in other words he told me it's your furniture so you deal with it. One thing for sure you don't EVER have to worry about me purchasing ANYTHING else from ROYAL FURNITURE. SO don't waste your time in buying a warranty it doesn't cover unless the issues are manufacturer defects....which is my issues Mr. Kenneth... but Mr. Kenneth said unless it falls apart then I should call him back...the poorly cosmetic put together furniture is my problem. Also, rude Mr. Kenneth also hung the phone up while I was still talking. After reading some of the other post I can see why the employees at the service desk are rude ...their manager is also. The apple don't fall far from the tree, but it will lay their in rot....as will the business. People will stop shopping there...Just keep up the good work, we are the reason you have a salary or did you forget. I would have put no 0 star but it would not have let me post so that is the only reason I am showing 1 star.

Purchased a bed for my daughter here last year. I put the bed on layaway with only a couple hundred dollars left to pay. BOTH times I went to make a payment, the older Caucasian lady at the desk was RUDE and I felt so under appreciated BOTH times AND the payment was taken AFTER her conversation was over. I even called a time or two after My furniture was paid for to check the status of the furniture, since it was in backorder, the SAME lady was RUDE AGAIN!!! My salesperson called to update me on the status of my bed and I explained the incidents to her. She stated she would inform management and she kept apologizing for their behavior (she was VERY sweet). Of course, management didn't offer anything for the rude behavior but "said" they would address it. It was confirmation when I heard previous complaints from non Caucasian friends about their similar experiences at this store. For this reason ALONE, because my salesperson waa GREAT, i will NEVER shop here again and i will tell EVERYONE I know about my experience here as well.
