Great place for locals to hang out and drink coffee, but not much more than that. Service was sub-par with forgotten drink orders and food coming out at weird times. Well over 10 minutes between when our 1st and 4th party member received their food. The food itself was bland and uninteresting, with my chicken fried to oblivion. The food selected by my other party members seemed quite similar, but I didn't try it. Could be a unique and vintage dive, but missed the mark.

This place is as "Keyser" as it gets. The friendliest people just looking to give you a good meal and a good time. Food is spectacular and the staff makes sure you feel as if you're at home. If you're ever in the area: make it a point to go to the Royal!

Been coming since 99 and they have now started to accept credit cards. Foods good, great atmosphere, early opening and late closing. What more could you want.

Great place to eat especially if you want to go back into time to say the 50's.  Cozy atmosphere, old, but good food and personal touch.
