A fun alternative to the norm - each week, the menu is set and is guaranteed to be delicious. In house fresh ricotta, Ontario farm produce and great meat ensures an awesome dining experience. The only catch is making sure the food that's set on the night you want to go appeals to you. It's also an opportunity to try dishes you might not otherwise order!

We had an amazing experience at Ruby Watchco!  My husband and I hosted a dinner party for 20 people in the upstairs private dining space.  We were impressed with everything - amazing service, fantastic wine, and delicious food.  It was a lovely evening.  Mary was really great over email when organizing the party, and all the staff that night were fantastic.  Highly, highly recommended!

Delicious food. Nice atmosphere. It was great to see Chef Lynn Crawford in action preparing dinner. Love the way The restaurant is set up so you can see into the kitchen and the final plating station.  The food is always phenomenal -served family style so you get to interact with the meal and guests at the table.

I absolutely love this place. The food is always top notch, service is fantastic. I've never sat downstairs before but have walked into the back kitchen to talk to her wife to ask about something... so kind. Great atmosphere and decorations as well, quite rustic. I hate the stairs going up though... way too narrow and scary. Wish there was a washroom upstairs.

We came with high expectations and indeed - the plates were beautiful and the service was terrific. However, for this pricetag you expect nothing less than perfection. The food was very mediocre, the kind you would expect from a restaurant with 15$ meals on the menu. There was nothing sophisticated or impressive about the flavours. Just... Food. Top that with loud bar-style music, and you'd understand why we decided to take our deserts to go.

If this were a regular restaurant, I would have given it 4 stars. But when you have a famous chef in charge and such a hefty price tag, you really gotta step up your game.
