Shocking, and depressing. The one and only time I visited this store they had a "purebred" (aka EXPENSIVE) boxer puppy in a small corner open-kennel. The dog had peed and defecated on the kennel floor and had an empty water bowl. What dog wants to eat and drink right next to where it also urinates/defecates ?! Very unsanitary and quite depressing to see! They also had 3 small kittens (only a few weeks old, I estimated) in a ferret cage, with only a little room to move. The kittens all looked like they had eye infections and were lethargic. There was only one young lady working while I was there, and while she was friendly there wasn't anyone urgently tending to the dirty kennel. The animals seem under-socialized and not properly cared for. I would avoid this place at all costs.

I found the staff to be very informative and friendly. I also couldn't believe how clean it was seeing as most pet stores with live animals generally smell like animals. This place did not.

Told the manager that selling puppies in a pet store was wrong on many counts and at the same time the water bowl was empty and the three pups were trying to get water. Instead of going right away and filling the bowl he chose to argue with me. It doesn't matter if the puppies were from a home he knows. Any good breeder would never sell their puppies this way. This deprives them of proper socialization and creates many other issues. Also you aren't provided the history of the parents to know if there are genetic issues, or other underlying health problems. Please stop selling puppies so you can just attract business to your store. And for the public, please ask more questions, in particular ,where do those puppies go when the store closes at night???

Very friendly and informative staff. Been trying to get a fish tank up and running for a couple years now and the advice that was given to be by the staff here over the last couple months have made it a sustainable tank. Instead of losing fish everyday like I was, I maybe lose one a month if that. Best place to go for fish. I used to drive out to big Al's in Kitchener or London, haven't left town since I started going here.
