The food was great. It was made fresh and the flavoring is on point. The loaded fries are absolutely amazing and the portions were generous. Really my husband and I could have split the loaded fries, as one order is enough for two. Kinda pricey but worth it due to portion size and quality. I ordered a Nashville Hot sandwich that came with slaw. The slaw is a little on the sweet side, which for me was great. But I wasn't sure if it was going to be more tangy or sweet, so for those wondering, a little sweet. I did also order a strawberry lemonade. I felt that it wasn't very sweet, and a bit on the less favorable side. Too much water. This is the only reason why I rated 4 stars instead of 5. The staff was extremely nice and pleasant. The atmosphere inside was also very comfortable. Family friendly. Give it a try, you most likely will love it! Also, the chickie bites are definitely large bites. Remember that when ordering. Was very impressed with our visit today!  The drive thru was very busy, we did wait for about 25 minutes, but our food was phenomenal! The customer service was great as well. Sweet girl at the window was very apologetic for the wait. We got 2 sandwiches and an order of loaded fries- all were amazing. And for about $20 it’s comparable in price to any other chicken joint. Will definitely be back!

My wife and I went opening weekend and since then we have been back 4 times and brought friends. The service is great, friendly employees and a great general manager who supports the team in the kitchen and the front counter.  The food is great and has a heat level from weak to super hot.  The waffle fries are so good and well seasoned that you don't need ketchup or any sauce for them.  The breaded chicken portions are large, maybe a little larger than Chick fil la, the grilled chicken portions was disappointing, but still flavorful.  Loaded fries are a meal in itself.  Will definitely be back in we live 40 minutes away.  Update: 10.31 8th time to eat here. Still a great place to enjoy chicken cooked many different ways.  Several choices for kids. So much better than Chicken E and Raising Canes.

Wow. I cannot say enough. The atmosphere, the food, the service, did I mention the food!!!  Fantastic and will be our new favorite family chicken spot. You want original, sweet, spicy, they got you covered.  Great job Rule The Roost!!!!

I rarely eat out, but I went to RTR twice this week. The food is absolutely perfect and I can finally get some real good SPICY food in Weatherford. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming, the food is fantastic, and the establishment is clean and spacious. I went on Wednesday during lunch and was baffled by how quickly our food came out. On our second visit during the Friday dinner rush the wait time was a little long, but that's to be expected from any restaurant handling the volume of customers they had. Absolutely worth any wait. I'm honestly surprised this is a new establishment, because they're putting out a quality experience you could only expect from a place that's been around for years. I can't wait to go back. My waistline is going to hate me. Big shout out to Craig and the rest of the awesome staff!

Yum! Great food and customer service!  We got the Simply Country and the Cheesy Chick and tried the Loaded Fries and Queso Fries.  First thing is the size. The sandwiches are very good size. One is more than enough for me. And both types of fries could each easily serve two people as a side.  Second is the flavor. I got the extra hot and it was very spicy, perfect for what I expected but not too hot. I also got the Easy Nash on the loaded fries and it was perfect and savory. The queso was a highlight and very cheesy and delicious.  Third is price. I think for was we got it was fair but just a touch high. Food quality is excellent and got a lot of food. Two large sandwiches, two admittedly deluxe sides, and a drink was $30.  Fourth is customer service. My receipt said Krystal served me and I saw her deal with a difficult and picky customer in front of me. Krystal was polite and professional and delivered what I consider excellent service even in a challenging situation.  Full marks for me. We will definitely be back!

We have enjoyed each meal we have had here. Great food, great service and always clean. The spicier the sandwich the more napkins I seem to need. Be sure to take friends to challenge one another on the heat scale. Bathrooms are well maintained as well.

This is the best chicken joint in north Texas! They have THE BEST fries I have ever eaten in my LIFE. The chicken is juicy and delectable, with just the right amount of crunch. If I could marry that chicken, I would. The funnel cake fries are something I never knew I needed in my life. The inside of the store was very clean, and workers always looked busy. Those bathrooms were better than buccees bathrooms. James was very helpful and had great knowledge of the menu. He made sure we had everything we needed before we left with our food. Overall, they got it all right. I’ll never go anywhere else for chicken.

What’s not to love about this place? Upon walking in, I was pleasantly surprised by the rustic yet modern decor.  The restaurant was charming, and absolutely spotless. I would have no problem implementing the five second rule here. The menu was chock-full of delicious options. As a first-timer, I wasn’t sure what to choose. My indecisiveness however, didn’t last for long. James, who was manning the register, went above and beyond by walking me through the entire menu in great detail. I was very impressed with his knowledgeability. He suggested the #6, aka the Cheesy Chick, and boy am I glad he did. With every bite of that life-changing sandwich, the flavors sung a new tune to my palate. It was perfectly balanced. Not to mention they served me the best fries I’ve ever had. Be sure to try them dipped in the Rule The Roost house sauce. Exquisite eats, and excellent service. I will certainly be a return customer.

I consider myself a Nashville Hot enthusiast and have tried quite a few in the DFW area. This Nashville hot sandwich definitely ranks up there. The employees were very friendly, the food came out quick, hot and fresh and had great flavors from high quality ingredients!
