Rush park is one of the best places that I would always come to hangout out with my family and friends. Its also used for bands and doing weddings and most of all planing a party for your loved ones and friends.

Too many homeless people in all areas of the park. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing picnic with your family; don't go here. Unless of course you enjoy vagrants watching you eat & play.

This park has a play structure for toddlers and one on sand for bigger kids, but they are not next to each other. There are swings. Covered benches ad a bbq pit. Other areas of the park include a skate/bike ramp. This park also has swimming pools for public swim in appropriate months, and offers swim lessons. They also hold many functions here, such as craft fairs and family fairs. I only gave it 2 stars because there's a lot of trash, I've been told cars get broken into a lot here, and transients also converge here daily and use profanity and smoke near the children.

Lots of homeless doing and selling what it like to be drugs. Did not feel safe having my kids there.

Some of my fondest and most favorite memories were spent here with my son and many other youths from within the community playing baseball for Citrus Heights Little League
