We've been camping here for years.... both tent and RV sites.  Great place..... owners and staff are very friendly and facilities are clean.....no frills...... but clean.  The store is rarely open.... doesn't bother us though.  Only complaint is that people make lots of noise with leaf blowers,  lawn mowers and power washers all day long.  We don't come to Russell Brook to hear that..... we can hear that at home.   There don't seem to be any rules or regulations on using machinery.... but perhaps permitting use only during weekdays....Tuesday thru Thursday maybe would help.  This season.... we have seen one camper that houses compete slobs.  There are tires, gas cans, tarps and junk laying all over the place.   We're so surprised the owners allow this.   Very disappointing.   
I would say if it gets much worse we may start frequenting other campsites.... and it's a real shame because we love it here.

Camped at Russell Brook 7/21/17 to 7/23/17 with family and friends .
Had a wonderful time . Terry and Dolores were helpful and polite and very knowledgeable of the area . Looking forward to going back soon .

I love it here! This is great secluded camping and nothing more.The closest stores are in near by Roscoe but come prepared and enjoy the wilderness.
