Rustic Acres is a privately owned campground that is open to the public. We are located in New Douglas Illinois.

Story

Rustic Acres is located within an hour's drive of St. Louis, Mo and Springfield IL. Nestled on 47 Country acres , Rustic Acres boast two fishing lakes which have a variety of fish for the avid angler or that little fisherman to be. The 170+ campsites are tucked among the serenity of Beautiful Oaks and hickory trees. The sports enthusiast may wish to take advantage of our 2 acre sports field. Nature, animals, for instance Deer, Rabbits and Squirrels , and birds, such as orioles and golden finch's, are some sights campers may enjoy while walking through the park. Families and friends may spend the day swimming in our Large swimming pool or take part in planned activities. To enjoy a relaxing afternoon you may wish to play horseshoes, basketball, volleyball with friends and family. However, you may want to play a round of golf at the nearby golf course or choose to sit under a tree while reading a book or watch your children play on one of our two playgrounds.
