The atmosphere of Rye is upscale yet relaxed. It was a great change of pace. Their service was probably some of the best that I've ever experienced . We started off by ordering drinks and the salmon tartar. The drinks were prepared quickly and were incredible. The salmon tartar came out shortly after, and my wife and I agreed that it was probably in the top 5 best things we have ever eaten. We had heard mixed reviews about Rye, but at this point in our dining experience, we were on track for one of the best restaurants in Louisville. The entrees were next, and thus the reason for a below average rating. My wife ordered the steak. The steak was $55.00 and was completely over done. Almost a third of the steak was charred/inedible. I consider that unacceptable when it was ordered medium, and cost what it did. I ordered the lamb burger. It was nothing special. Due to the first impression being so good,I was extremely let down. Our total meal was right at $140, including the tip. When we left, we felt pretty ripped off. We have been to several restaurants in Louisville that are 1/2 the price, and left us with a better taste in our mouth.

Such a cool little restaurant. Were from out of town and the staff was incredibly friendly and informative. Had the mahi mahi and it was delicious. Surprisingly spicy with the avocado mousse that really helped to cool it down. Entirely cooked to perfection though and would very much suggest it. Will definitely be stopping here again, and make sure to get a round for the kitchen crew : )

What a gem! Beautiful and incredibly tasty dishes and absolutely perfectly crafted cocktails! Warm and friendly staff. Absolute perfection!

Miracle on Market pop up bar. Fun drink recipes. Cool glass. Great service. Delicious food. The heater in the dining room works well.

Country Ham toast was one of the best things on bread I've ever had in my life. Cool folks runnin' this spot, rad vibe too. Nice music choices y'all! Check it out, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
