Story

Saddle Ranch Chop House is a destination restaurant where guests stay long after their plates have been cleared to enjoy a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience with friends and family. Every Saddle Ranch Chop House has a large outdoor patio with stone campfire pits, where guests can roast their own s’mores or enjoy a glass of wine by the fire. Inside each Saddle Ranch is a large, oval-shaped bar in the center of the dining room and, of course, our signature mechanical bull providing endless entertainment to diners. Serving up home-style cooking and down-home hospitality, our staff will make your group feel like you are dining at a close friend’s table.

Saddle Ranch and its infamous mechanical bull have been featured on countless shows including "Modern Family", "Sex and the City", "Workaholics", "Desperate Housewives", "American Idol", "Six Feet Under", "VH1’s Rock of Love" and numerous more.

One of the most fun places in studio city. Huge floor plan, huge beer selection, huge mix drinks. There is a bull machine so you can watch huge women mount a mechanical bull and show what they got. Plenty of screens for sports, then they switch to VJ later in the evening to keep you entertained. Dancing on the weekend keeps the locals and the tourist sweating till close, and plenty of outdoor seating let's then cool right back off.

We came here on a Tuesday night @ 10pm after a long day of work it was the only place open in my area. I've lived in LA all my life and this was my first time. First of all don't come here on weekends if you don't like crowds of people( it's common sense since the is universal). Tue night lots of room to stretch, I love it . Our serve was funny & helpful, he automatically knew they got my boyfriends order wrong and went to the back and brought the side of fries he wanted from the get go w/o hesitation. The food is a little pricey but the portions are huge! ( totally worth it) and they have great drinks.

First time dinning here and I thought it was kind of pricey for the drinks and pretty bland food. The portions were pretty big but the food wasn't all that great. On the contrary the bar here is nice. It's nice, big, and gets crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. I'd come back here to have drinks but not to dine. They have live DJs playing top 40s so the vibe here is pretty cool. Id day this place is a better bar than it is a diner.

Food was amazing, I have been disappointed lately in some steakhouses I've went to, but this one was very good. Good drinks And my ribeye was delicious and cooked to perfection! The drinks are a little pricey, but come in big sizes. The service was amazing. They were pretty busy, but we didn't have to wait very long for a table. We will definitely be back next time we are visiting universal studios.

We waited for 45 minutes,then asked if the bread was coming out. They said it had burnt and that they would make more. We waited another 20 minutes for the food to come out. The waitress never came to the table the whole wait. When we got the food 2 out of 7 of us had warm food. Everyone else's food was cold. We sent the food back twice to get reheated. The food never did get warm. The managwr, Daniel, was wonderful though. He made sure to get the food heated up and gave us 20% off the meal. It wasn't worth the time or the high price for what most of us got. We did get tasty little buttermilk biscuits and cinnamon butter once we were done eating.
