Owner of the store and all of the associates are wonderful! They provide very fast efficient and helpful customer service and are very personable. I would definitely recommend this place above all other bike shops and they have wonderful pricing.

My go to local bike shop. All staff is knowledgeable. Miguel is one of the best mechanics around, knows how to deal with hard to pinpoint noises, rattles, etc. Safety Cycle offers a significant discount on bikes, accessories, and repair parts to specific local bike clubs (eg, Beach Cities Cycling Club).

I'm about one year into my first road bike. I have been going to Safety Cycle for all my bikes needs. Recently I had a service done on my wheel and they honored the original price even though they came into more problems not foreseen until the work got underway. I trust the work they do on my bike and they have a great staff.

Usually when I walk into a bike shop, I feel the same way I do when I take my car in - like a piece of fresh meat ready to be eaten!  I absolutely did not feel that way when I rolled my bike into their shop.  I've done a fair amount of riding in my life but I am by no means one of those fast guys you see riding in groups, just a middle aged woman out to put some miles in.  I met Brandon and he was very nice and did not over sell me on a badly needed tune up.  In fact, he didn't sell me at all - he presented options from which I chose and told me exactly what parts would be needed.  No nonsense or bs.  I have been looking for a shop I can depend on for maintenance and I have one!
