This Safeway has poor customer service, The produce is never fresh, and the lines are always long, and slow. Only a few employees display great customer service; The security guards are great! Melissa is rude and seems to have a disgusting attitude. They frequently have problems with their actual prices, matching the display price. I live a few blocks away but I will drive to the other side of town for better service, and groceries.

Grass Roots gone techno! Prices have never been lower and quality so high. The meaning of Community is here. Be prepared to see smiles, helpful clerks, and your neighbors shopping cart along side of yours.

My neighborhood store! I go here 80% of the time for groceries and needs, they have a smaller store with no deli,bakery Dept. But it still carries sale items when most run out and if u ask management to start carrying a product they don't usually have at their location , 9 times outta 10 they will....they always mark soon to be expired foods down 50% ....which is great! Also one time they had a huge amount of soups marked down 50% and I didn't get my food stamps for two more days but knew I wanted almost all of the soups they had so the manager held all the soups for me 50+ soups till I got my stamps two days later....if that isn't great customer service from your neighborhood store, then idk what is.....I commend their personal relationships they build from frequent and loyal customers , like me! The workers are nice, and treat everyone good regardless of how they look or act! Thank u Safeway! Famliy of 10 will always be back!

Nice neighborhood store. No deli, bakery, or restrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. In-store specials not found at other Tacoma Safeway stores. Amazon locker onsite.

Terribly understaffed and slow lines and horribly overpriced. It might be closer than other stores but you'll waste all that time waiting in line anyway so might as well go somewhere with more selection, cleaner, and much better prices. Terrible management...
