Well.... I was expecting better, but I guess there is a way to run a small party and there is a way to run a large party and those ways don't mix.... Went to the restaurant for a birthday party of a friend's child. The party was held upstairs. The entire upstairs was reserved, which was nice but the number of people there was a little more than the staff could handle. Starting with seating arrangements we were cramped and given that it is a child's first birthday party one would have to assume that the strollers will be on hand to handle the babies, that wasn't taken into account. The bread and fixins didn't come out until we were all seated and started drinking. I would have expected those to be on hand right at the start. But I guess it was not to be. The appetizers came some time after fast but not exactly fast. The main courses came about the time that the clown that our friends requested to entertain the kids was about to leave which was about an hour and a half after the appetizers and then soon after came the desert. Main course was fish and various kabobs and chops, haven't tried the fish but it seems to have been good, Lamb Chops were amazing but Adana were mediocre at best, and the time between courses was in my humble opinion atrocious. Overall there is a lot of potential there but I don't think that handling parties of more than 15-20 people makes a good business sense given the logistics nightmare this usually presents.

Awesome. They have parking, which is hard in New Brunswick. My recommendation is to ask for the 5 course menu. It is on the pricey side, but you will have a ton of food to take home. Everything was great.

Flavorful Middle Eastern cuisine. Best hummus in NJ. Try the lentil soup and if you have room for dessert stick with a pudding or custard. Parking is limited, and there is always a crowd so get there early.

If you are not familiar with Middle-Eastern food and want to sample a lot, ask for the family-style meal. It's worth the price. Service was attentive and friendly. Plan to spend a few hours. BYOB.

Food is great. Atmosphere is wonderful. Service has always been a little wanting.
