We love Salty Iguana and have been to several of their locations.  The atmosphere is different but the food has been consistently good at all.  We love their thin warm chips and various salsas.  They have the best margaritas around and service is always outstanding.  We've tried several things and have never been disappointed.

Locally Owned Restaurant. Been around many years. Good Food! Generous portions. Friendly, quick service. Very reasonable prices! It's my kid's favorite!

The atmosphere is fun along with the decor but that's where the positives end. The food was not good, chicken burrito tasted like something from Taco Bell and the beef chimichanga was flavorless and soggy and the salsa is just blended tomatoes. I would have rather went to Chipotle. Too many other good Mexican food restaurants in the area to return here.

Service is pleasant but ridiculously slow over lunch and not overly attentive. The place is brightly decorated with decent acoustics but the real question is whether that makes up for slow service and subpar food.. Food is Tex-Mex. Not as tasty as authentic Mexican food. The chips are too thick and taste like salted cardboard.

I give 4 stars because the food is great. The service has lacked most times we go there but since the food is so good we continue to go. It’s pretty family-friendly and we usually wait anywhere from 10-25 minutes to get a table.
