Lots of cool furniture. New coat of paint...and voilà! Lots of clothing. Can get pretty hot in there. Find out when the specials are. Parking is a nightmare (weekend: terror). Staff mixed, some friendly some not.

Hit or miss, as with any type of thrift shop. Especially nice when you show up and the store just happens to be 50% off!

EXPENSIVE
Overpriced everything. Even the outdated stuff.

Is it because Salvation Army is so spread out--lots of overhead costs?

For 25% more, you can probably buy brand new Walmart sale items. Or IKEA.
