Story

Since 1967, Sam's has provided real wood, heirloom quality Amish and American made furniture and home accents. Sam's specializes in customizable furniture, allowing the customer to personalize their purchase by selecting the wood, color, and style to fit their current decor. Sam's also sells ready to finish furniture for the DIY project and home decor and accessories. Our exclusive relationships with small, skilled Amish builders and their custom offerings is what sets us apart from any other furniture store.

​ Decent place, but my dissatisfaction is with the owner. I try very hard to always buy local and support small businesses. The prices there are very high and it would be a financially wiser decision to make my purchase with a big box store and save myself $100. Having a partner who owns a small business I'm aware of sales margins. I made an offer to purchase a desk for $25 less than what was being asked. The owner had no desire to accept or even counter my offer, which was very disappointing. The employee who assisted me was very helpful and kind. In the end, I will still support small businesses, but I won't be returning to this one.

Sarah, the owner at Sam's Wood Furniture, was a huge help. I've bought from her for years and will continue to do so. Quality was high and service was great. Having bought furniture online and from big chain stores, I guarantee you if there is a small amount of dollar savings it's not worth the time or the pressed fake-wood board junk most of those places sell.
