I have been riding my bicycle in and around this park for almost 5 years now. It is a quiet and natural kind of park. The dunes along the direct beach access are all natural. Other than some bathrooms there aren't any buildings really. Very nice place.

Beautiful beach area and I love how close it is to the Harbor and shops. Fairly clean and I love that I can bring my dog along!

Its cool, parking is free but few spaces and thr beach is fill with broken shells not the best walking or just laying out. You WILL NEED A CHAIR. Its has good restaurants near by.

picnic tables are located everywhere !  There are some trees.   The Beach is just over The dune!  Bathrooms with outdoor showers,  sinks,  and drinking fountains.  Rabbits can be seen toward dusk.  Large poisoning lot and The Ventura bike way crosses thru so many families bring their bikes and start their ride here. The main lifeguard station and Ranger/Park service is located here.  Camp hosts also seem to be located here.

Great beach right by camp grounds and showers and bathrooms near by with a place to rent boogy boards and things for the day.
