Great for surfers and others alike. Go use the teeter totter log just leave it as it is please. Stroll along the cement walkway and get up to Pier for a quick bite. Nice place to relax or engage with others. Enjoy!

Good for free parking. Be careful and alert around here. Homeless people and some people smoking pot. Don't bother them, they won't bother you.

After almost 40 years I feel inspired to get a long board and "Go For it!" My friends came in winter when the waves were really. Big! So I sat in the car and watched. Great place to shoot pbotos and video. 2 blocks from Amtrak and 5 from San. Buenaventura

I was there everyday for week and loved each one. There were so many different kinds people all flowing together in harmony with the waves. I'll be going back

This is a pretty nice beach despite it's problems. 
It's a little hard to walk on the beach, but that just goes for all stony beaches. There's some broken beer bottles strewn across the rocks but relatively little trash. The concrete blocks and old bricks as well as the rusted pipes and rods could be pretty dangerous and sharp in some parts, but they still look kinda cool. 
Parking isn't as bad as in surrounding so it's a good alternative to the others. And again it's not dirty, the water is clean and the beach is clean apart from some seaweed and sticks. I'd still recommend this beach.
