The doctors and staff are absolutely wonderful. We travel from east county because we've not found higher quality, compassionate care anywhere else. The doctors are highly trained and care not only about our pets, but about us too. They have treated many of our pets over the years with everything from serious illnesses to toenail trimming. When we've had to make difficult end of life decisions, they've been incredibly helpful, sensitive and compassionate. We can't recommend them enough! We love San Diego Bay Animal Hospital!

We have relocated to San Diego very recently. One of the top priorities was to find a veterinarian practice that we would be comfortable caring for our dog. I had phoned several vet offices in my area inquiring about specific care that my dog requires. Some could not provide the service and recommended practices that might. Others were just rude and/or their reviews were horrible. I did my due diligence and decided to expand the distance to travel for an office, ended up only being 6 miles! This is when I found San Diego Bay Animal Hospital. I called on a Friday afternoon, inquired about their services, and found they could meet my dog's specific needs. I do have to mention that he only needs a specific medication maintenance, I'm sure any vet could order but none offered that option. Nonetheless, they had everything we needed in stock. I asked a few more questions and requested an appointment. Much to my surprise, the receptionist said "how is Sunday at 10?". Wow, I thought, so soon, thinking I would be lucky to get an appointment the following week. We went to the appointment and couldn't be happier. The office was VERY clean, staff were polite, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The vet, Karen, was also extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and we were both impressed by the fact that in everything we discussed, cost was always considered. No pushing unnecessary items/vaccinations/tests. Fees were comparable or less than my other inquiries/experience. Also, seven days later, we received a call from the office inquiring how my dog was doing after his visit. NICE CARING TOUCH!!!! You don't get that anymore not even from your own physician. Overall we couldn't have made a better choice, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND San Diego Bay Animal Hospital!

I love this clinic! From the calm, peaceful environment to the wonderful Drs and staff. My cat is totally blind and I used to be very anxious about taking her to the Vet, but she is actually calm and happy there. So thankful that I found them!

This hospital is awesome! The staff is amazing and helpful, the Doctors work with you to find the best way to take care of your pets. I bring all of mine to see them. Dr. Traversi is great and takes the best care of Kube. She loves him.

The front office staff and veterinarians at San Diego Bay Hospital are all very caring and professional folks. When my 10 year old pooch needed to have surgery on her paw, Dr Van Maele was very gentle with her and did a great job with the surgery. I have never had any difficulty getting an appointment quickly when I needed one, and I have been very pleased with the services they have offered to both my dogs. I highly recommend them!
