The Airport Authority is governed by an appointed board which represent all areas of San Diego County.

I was looking forward to popping through San Diego on my way home. Love San Diego. 

All on Southwest. Had 30 minutes between flights. Had to exit and go through security again to get from 1 to 8. Barely made my flight. What the heck?

I liked this airport. They had a nice sunny seating area with some food options that was perfect for working while waiting. The airport was clean and had some interesting at pieces. While the restrooms were clean, they were hard to find and a walk from the Sunny spot. I disliked the very loud announcements that seem much louder as at other airports and prevent you from having a good phone conversation. The food options seemed plenty.

San Diego International Airport is in a great location.  It is very easy to get from the airport to downtown San Diego within 20 minutes.  This international airport is fairly small, compared to most others.  The onsite parking is close to the terminal but is expensive.  

The security lines can get you to your terminal usually within 15 minutes and everything is close by.  During busy commute times it can be difficult to find seating near your gate or in one of the few bar / dining locations.  

They do have gift shops that are kept clean and are quick to cash you out to get you on your way. 

My favorite part of this airport is that it is small and easy to get in and out of, but because it is small there are not too many places to relax while waiting for a flight.

I have been going here for 15 years now and I have never had a bad experience. The service is great, there is no shortage of food/stores, and it is really well kept. I am proud to call this airport my home airport.😂

I have arrived and departed to many other airports from San Diego International over many years of air travel. The airline employees at this airport are certainly more professional than most others around the country. I fly Alaska airlines quite a bit and have had good relations with the Alaska staff here in San Diego.
