This is a fantastic zoo, and the kids love it here. It has all the quintessential animals, several zoo habitat-themed playgrounds, a merry-go-round, and awesome exhibits with teaching (if you come at the designated time). I love bringing guests of all ages here, and we always have a blast. The food is quite pricey, so bring your own if you can.

I love this Zoo! We have a family membership, and if we could do the drive from the North Bay every weekend we would come and camp out here on Saturdays. Now we come as often as we can and bring friends! Kudos to the VP who is always biking around the park checking to make sure the guests were happy. Always well maintained and clean. Great park and we love the train!

This is a well maintained zoo. The size and number of animals are a bit small considering the size of city of San Francisco. But most of the animals there seem to be taken good care of, which is definitely more important. On weekends it can be very difficult to find parking. I signed up for their membership last November, but did not yet receive the membership cards. I don't know what happened. I am a zoo lover, so although I don't have kids I go there regularly. It's a good weekend attraction for either family or dating.

Friendly staff, beautiful grounds with fun rides and educational exhibits. We visit the zoo at least once a month and love supporting their efforts. Our girls always have a great time!

I used to go to this place a lot as a ten year old in the 70's. It's changed a lot. Some good and some sort of sad. The zoo is beautiful and I really loved my 2017 visit. It is sad to see that they charge families so much to enjoy this place. In my day, kids entered for free. I just don't undstand why that's no longer true. Makes me sad.
