The staff is very friendly and personable. I normally do not like the sonic scraper. My hygienist, Claudia, made it a tolerable experience today. With my work schedule i have trouble making it in during the week. They have Saturday hours which is wonderful. Two huge thumbs up for San Marcos smile dental.

Make sure they check your dental insurance before they take x-rays...
I provided my insurance information the day prior to my appt., but they must have failed to check it prior to my exam/routine cleaning. 
When asked for a copy of the X-rays to take to a dentist that I find in my "network" they said it would cost ~$60. Staff was friendly, however, equipment and floors were dusty. Would not recommend to others.

I have been a patient at Sun Smile for many years. I still travel up there to San Marcos even after moving to San Diego. My regular hygienist, Pegah, is very friendly and does excellent work. I have recommended Dr. Shah and Sun Smile Dental to many friends.

I went today and they were super nice and very helpful I have bad lower teeth and they didn't look at me any different I would totally recommend them

First, my name is Derek Ward, not Cassie. However, she is my wife.  I have not gone to the dentist much in my lifetime, all due to a bad and painful experience in my childhood. Obviously not a smart thing to do, now I HAVE to go.  The SAN Marcos Smile group office has been the best dental experience I've had.  Dr. V. Le is extremely patient,  gentle (because of his awareness of my sensitivity), he explains everything they're doing, all the staff are very pleasant, and helpful. There's no pressure other than they want to save your teeth, if possible.  Their prices are comparable to most dentist offices.  Just an overall pleasant experience from entering the door to exiting.  If u are afraid of dentist, this is the place for you. If you need a pleasant atmosphere, this is the place. U should go visit, TODAY!!!👨🏽
