Great hospital for ER Services. However if your really sick with the flu, expect to wait up to 4 hrs. Add bonus it has a helicopter pad to get you there fast.

My orthopedic Dr. Stein was great. I worked for him in the SRMH operating room for 4 years. OR crew TOP notch folks. As for the floor nurses ? I went to the bathroom and came back and notice poop on my bed sheets. I asked the RN to change my bed sheets. She replied I have only been there one day. I told her I want you to change my sheets there is feces there. That's one day post op from a Hip replacement. PT had me do ten operative toe lifts and started BSing with a co-worker , I finished the ten. OH do ten more. On 15 my operative ankle swell up like Fred Flintstones. It took three weeks for the ankle pain to go away. My hip was sore BUT I could not put all my weight on my ankle and had to use a walker for 3 weeks. That's the only time my sheets were change and I was there for 6 days. I called the patient hot line. Oh we care and well call you back leave your voice mail. We talked once after several calls with no response. SRMH told me an investigation would take place. $200,000.00 SRMH bill and they can only change my sheets once. Had to ask the CNA on the 3rd. day to wash my back and a new clean gown. Majority of time I asked for the Morphine I was treated like it was " drug seeking behavior ". The RN on the second day gave me a lecture. My doctors order was as necessary every two hours. On the 3 day the RN came back with Ultram and told me to take this. I told her no go get my morphine. My ankle hurt worst than my hip. I did not eat for 6 days. Only saw my nurse during pill time. Only saw my CNA at the beginning of the shift for vital signs and meal trays. When I was D/c they rushed me out to their cab because my ride home could not pick me up. While I got dress for the cab the staff told me I did not have to where underwear. I told them I wanted to wear underwear because I might poop and it was a 90 minute ride home. How demeaning. Case manage was so rude. Never introduce herself or ask me what my needs were ? Came in to my room and demanded my credit card for a $200.00 deposit on an hospital bed to be deliver at my place. My coverage requires none. I still own them $1600 and they have the gall to ask me for donations every month. I am an telemetry registered nurse at Doctors Medical Center San Pablo. If I treated my patients like that I would be reprimanded and possibly terminated.
