I really like the collegiate apparel selection here. I am also very happy with my four guns, as well as some accessories and maintenance items purchased at Scheels. The prices are mid-range and the purchase is quick and easy, compared to the nearly one hour wait just to look at a gun when your number is finally called at a local competitor (and being made to feel like you are taking up their precious time). I have encountered one or two gun salesmen here with holier-than-thou attitudes, but I simply waited to find someone else to help me, then made sure only they got credit for the sale. Quality service pays off. 

Update: The collegiate apparel section has been rearranged. The old bicycle section is now over 1/2 Husker gear. Like there aren’t a hundred stores in Omaha with Husker gear available. I liked the unique selection of other schools. The only other school whose selection improved is Creighton. Every other school has decreased. The clearance prices are really just sale prices now. Downgraded one star.

This is definitely one of my favorite stores to shop at!  The staff is almost always helpfully and friendly!  The store is always clean and they have a big selection of items to chose from.  One negative thing could be said for the store though and that is I feel they have some of the highest prices in town!  When you do find things on sale or clearance here, you will in my experience get a good deal though!

Firearms price matching is a farce.  I had 2 sales people and a manager all tell me that they would match an online price. I told them the gun that I had selected and the website to match. The manager was there at the time and approved it immediately. The salesperson walked away and returned a short time later to inform me of an additional fee ($35), to which I agreed for the convenience of having my purchase tonight.  The clerk then left again as we were filling out the paperwork only to return a second time to inform me of another additional fee ($30) which conviently raised the price up to their original store price.

First visit to this place and I love it. It's eye appealing. Large variety of items. On the first floor there's a ferris wheel!!  And as you go up the escalator, you can smell the goods from the candy shop.

Best sporting goods store in Omaha hands down.  Great selection of about anything you can think of related to sports.
