I had a leak in my waders I bought a couple years ago. It was right above my boot, bad glue - factory defect. I had no receipt, just the box. There were 2 other associates I spoke to at the service desk before I spoke with a manager named Lauren. I admit, I was very frustrated that they did not carry any youth or womens sized waders for my replacement. Lauren offered me an in-store credit for my worn product. I was very grateful for that. Especially with no receipt. These types of "customer satisfaction" situations are taken for granted too often! The managers really do want all customers to leave happy. Thank you, Lauren for putting up with me (because I know I was a "challenging" customer) and keeping a loyal customer. I will continue to purchase my hunting gear here because of their willingness to make things right. Good service should not go unnoticed.

The best selection in Cedar Falls for almost any sport. Customer service is great. The guys in the bow section got me squared away and didn't charge me for any labor or setup. Prices aren't great, but are standard for a brick and mortar store. This store is a huge improvement over the two they had in the malls.

Beautiful new store, gun dept is excellent, the staff that has been there a while really know their stuff and are very helpful. Nice selection of rifles and pistols, and very competitive on prices for a lot of items. Have purchased several firearms from them over the years and enjoy the professional manner in which I am always treated. Scheels is a classy store and it's fun to shop there.
