I am giving 5 stars but not comparing it to the original Schlitterbahn in San Marcus because that is one of, if not the best, water park in the world. This resort is very kind friendly. All the rides are geared for children which is great. In the outdoor park all but one ride is off of their 'lazy' river which makes it easy and fun. The sandcastle is great fun and there are three slides there. The indoor portion has two slides and kiddie area and an amazing wave pool that is circular so it is like a wave river. Would recommend highly for families.

We stayed in one of their large suites. Eight of us were staying there after a margarita event at a nearby venue. The room easily accommodated the eight of us. It had two large beds, two bunk beds, and a pull out sofa in the living room section. There was a full kitchen and a washer and dryer setup. At the time, the safe was out of order until maintenance came to fix it. We did not take advantage of the water park access, but the circular wave pool is good for an indoor relaxing river ride float. They only gave us two parking permits, so two of us had to park away from the parking lot. For the size of the room, the single bathroom was small. Overall I had a good time.

Extremely friendly staff that is there and ready to help you with anything needed. The rooms on the other hand are not the greatest. They have a foul odor, you have to wait 15 minutes or longer to get water warm enough to shower in. Items for sale and food on the property are very pricey. The place overall is pretty outdated. Definitely not a "resort" feel to the place. Good location on the beach though.

The indoor and outdoor water parks were so much fun. It doesn’t look like much when you enter in but once you get in there you realize how much there is to do. The lazy river around the outdoor water park was my absolute favorite thing to do. Most of the park ride entrances were off the lazy river so you could float around for a while and scoot over to a ride if you were so inclined or just keep floating. The food and drinks were surprisingly reasonably priced at the water park as well. The Seaside bar and grill was a lovely place to unwind and relax with some nice drinks and enjoy the beautiful beach scenery. The fifth floor restaurant was closed for the season however the area itself was open and provided a nice place to watch the sunrise in the morning and enjoy the evening waves at night. My only complaint about the resort is that the rooms were not that great. Our family of six stayed in a King Beach Side suite. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room so there was adequate room for all of us. I was more disappointed in the cleanliness of the room and furniture. There also didn’t seem to be much in the way of amenities. The rooms were expensive so I was expecting a bit more luxury for a resort and the price that we paid.

Love this place. Especially when it rain awesome. By the sea and the smell it's like we're in it. Just totally awesome family experience. Friendly people and of course rude ones too. Don't mind them or call staff they'll handle the problem fast. Enjoying the summer at it's top pike. Look for sales in the local community if not pay the full price. Have fun.
